A character design concept art for the main character of VRO: Vim! I tried to go for a jack of all trades look, indicating Vim's versatility and unique stats build. I also tried a new coloring approach, which turned out surprisingly well. The coloring finally looks like something you might see from an Japanese artist, which I've been failing at replicating since forever.

Some background on Vim:
Vim was always short and effeminate in real life, and combined with his anti-social tendencies conducting normal interactions with others have always been a challenge in the conservative city that he grew up in. However, as a veteran of MMORPGs and online social circles, he knows his liabilities in real life are a valuable tool to be utilized. Especially in the new VRMMO Valkyrie Requiem Online, where concrete data such as name, gender, age are completely hidden from other players to try to try to encourage role-playing. By wielding cuteness as a weapon and sowing confusion on unsuspecting guys, he is willing to exploit them for all they've got in his quest to become a top player of the most popular VR game in history.
