Here is October the 21st...The smell of the autumn; leaves crunching underfoot, brushfires glowing in the distance, the hallmarks of the Dead Month, and the crowning glory of it all, the ripe harvest moon hanging in the sky....
To some ghosts, this pale orb is just too great a treat to ignore; as we have pointed out, ghosts are enamored with all things rare and tasty...The moon is the greatest treat of them all...A treat you can only REALLY enjoy when you are dead and the constraints of the mortal world do not impose themselves on your size and constitution. If you are so unfortunate to cast your eyes upward one night and see this monstrous jelly of a creature on the horizon, your only consolation is that the moon, being a rather large celestial snack, is far to rich for most ghosts, and it will have to surrender it back to the night sky when it succumbs to lunar indigestion.
