This is what I like, and what prefer. YOU don't have to like it.
I like what ever I like, and I prefer Irkens acting like Irkens.
I like the Irkens as aliens. Not with human culture like going to high school, being bullied at "school", having casual jobs like being an accountant, living in democracy, growing up with abusive parents, etc.
I like when they are truly military based, download their knowledge as smeets underground without even having to go to school, training on planet Devestis as elites, or as a soldier. Being ranked up higher based on height, being snack or fastfood fanatics, serving their empire, etc.
I love aliens, reason why I like sci-fi in the first place. I'm hardly interested in drama, and romance in a urban setting or concrete jungle, the human kind.
To be honest I rather see space hillbillies, space nuns, and space pirates instead of the American culture or etc tossed into everything especially an alien race that has never ever been exposed to human cultures in it's entire existence.
It's NOT my opinion either. This is what I like and will forever love.

That is the reason why I HATE almost all the FCs in the IZ fandom. All of them must have Sirs that resemble gir, all of them must fall in love with Zim. When they are artificial intelligence in the first place that can't feel love. It's like 2 toasters making out, that's what I imagine. One person had their FC make 100 babies with a Zim, and most of the FCs are mary sues that are creepy. I can't rp as Zim, and even Dib isn't even a option. Most are usually female Irkens that either want to destroy Zim or Make love. There is no plot and they act sooo human to the point they wear human clothes or even live if they were on Irk in rurel or suburbs you'll see in a human culture. No redish purple sky with no metallic metropolis seen in the show.

My Zim page is recruiting soldiers, but he still treats them like crap and will enslave them later. I kind of explored Zim... well... A LOT, he has more to him then just screaming and anger, he has a small soft side that pops out once in a while, I have watched all the episodes, including unfinished ones several times and it's pretty visible. He also doesn't talk in 3rd person all the time. He just shouts Zim a lot. I've seen them too, and I actually think he likes earth a little. With him saving it all time, including in the unaired episode with poonchy. I do have a facebook but I hardly use it. It's basically the same name I have here since I'm a role player. Just now laying low and not trying to yet again be exposed to mary sues X.x.
I'll probably take a look if I'm not doing anything.

OOC Dib and Zim has got to be as bad as FCs. Like Zim impreganater on facebook who talks like zim but is OOC and does what the name says.
Is why I see Zim and Dib friendship or enemies, is because of mopiness of doom.

Exactly, they do eat sometimes human like food for comedy relief and for cartoon logic, but they aren't human and they don't live like that of humans. May work at a fastfood restaurant but that makes sense because they are snack fanatics. Other they aren't human in anyway.

THIS STAMP! I love it to death, and ofcourse completely agree with you. I try my best to keep my irkens as alien as possable and since they both never even heard of hearth (like all the irkens except Zim, and the tallest later thanks to Zim) they don't do any human stuff or have their culture habits. The irken society is an interesting and unique thing, it's not hard sticking with it and irkens get boring if they are mixed with human culture since you already see that on humans and simular...

I know right, I just find it sad, but in rp I try to at least get people to rp as alien as possible so that's one pro there with rp. But in general not many make the characters truly alien.

see, most of my Irken characters are ex-military or currently military. I don't make them overly human, because that's just....bah. I mean, I could create a HUMAN character for that!

...though most of my "human" characters didn't have the good fortune to go to any sort of school or get an actual job. In fact, I try and steer clear of first world drama period, with any kind of character.

Though i am not for military things and all that (never my thing) where as i'd rather go on a own world and away from the script (anywhere i presume 
i'll say you're ends good for the more.....engaging? shall we say way of it and there's always a more sensing thrill too, so i can give kudos for that end, maybe not personally my preference but there's fun to that end ^^, and any end pretty much.

Agreed. Pure Irken work is a very interesting subject. With their militaristic and imperialistic society, unique biology, and expansive universe, there's a lot unexplored.
When people choose to simply take an Irken and put it on Earth, there's a lot of wasted potential. You might as well stick any other alien in its place and you'd have the same result.

Yes, and seeing even Irken ships drawn, clothing, buildings and all that fascinate me. Not just Irken either, anything alien-like.
I also can't see Xenomorphs using American culture, even japanese and be a democracy, unless it was a joke and not serious ._.

I personally don't think Irkens even look right doing what humans would do. Zim doesn't even look right doing certain things in the show. Let along the Irkens doing everything exactly almost human. A persona I could understand. But it's a advanced race, their ships are even zapped and parked in computers. They use computers and machines to store monies instead of monies having any real form, Irkens using their PAKs.
I mean it's a alien, a creature of science fiction. It's like 4kids trying to Americanize everything, except this is humanizing and having the CGI animals kick sci-fi in the face like sy-fy does these days on tv.
Those are some awful refs but yes. I love when someone can come up with a high tech weapon, building, and vehicle. Even make sci-fi armor or anything high tech.

I agree. And you mentioned 4kids so I have to make my comment on it. You can go on youtube and find a bunch of comparison videos of the originals cartoons with 4kids's edits. They even take words off signs and such, saying that children nowadays don't read. -____-

Ikr, I saw all of those. Every single bit of that. It's terrifying, and they have something against riceballs in pokemon. You know when I was a kid I was lied too, I thought those were actual donuts!!! What's stupid is they made One piece horrible, swapped guns with waterguns, are racist to black people, and change good music to that horrible pop or rap music just to "americanize" the shows :/
Also the signs being erased of words disgusted me and when the CEO actually said kids can't read, I wanted to punch him in the face so hard.
