"Waiting" by RoboticMasterMind portrays a stunning alternate style of artwork from said artist. This picture is much more smooth and simple, yet it has a very uncomplicated and relatively placid look to it.

Above all, it's the smooth quality of this piece, which is seen in the well-blended sky, Crome's clothing, and the sea, that makes the picture so beautiful. The best example within the piece would be how the sea changes from yellow-green to a forest green as it stretches away from the sunset source of light. It's not a simple gradient; it also has a softly lighted area in the middle bordering the skyline as a reflection of the sun hidden behind orange-yellow clouds, along with strokes of darker and lighter colors to indicate small wave movement.

Another aspect that I appreciate in the picture is the golden outline of the characters; centering the attention on them and also complimenting the setting. It helps to define their shape and pose as well.

If I were to improve the picture, I would brighten the coloring of Xon's clothing that isn't dark, to match the light color of Crome's tattered coat and very dark boots and gloves. His orange stripes' glow in one particular place is also a little overpowering, considering the location of the light source (the sunset) and the angle he is at in comparison. Getting rid of the glowing spots and rather adding more light color to the stripes will allow his outfit to agree with the lighting.

The only other aspect would be the shadows, which are a little on the perpendicular side to the light. The light, which can be determined by the slightly darker shades of orange at the top corners of the picture that help shape the rounded sun, seems to be shedding its light directly at the shadows. Moving the shadow directions a little further south or down (by the viewer's point of view) will remedy this.

To sum things up, this artwork is very smooth and calm due to the very soft transition of colors and shades, and I would love to see more of Robo's artwork in this same style.

Wow very nice!, I really like the mood of this picture you did very nice effects with the background and I love the sky. I find it kinda funny how chrome looks like he's giveing xon the side death eye though holding that gun, I jut wonder what are they waiting for?
