i feel as though my drawings follow the seasons. a few months ago everyone had winter jackets and toques on, and now it's all sandals and t-shirts

makes sense. when i have short hair i draw girls with short hair. when its long, all the girls i draw get long hair too. strange how we're influenced.

see, but i enjoy talking baout the weather. and my brother pointed something out to me, most people here love talking about the weather here because the weather is something to talk about. this winter we had something of an indian summer for a bit and it was 15 degrees outside and sunny, the following day winter decided to make an appearence and it was -12. that's quite a swing.
on top of that i remember a prof that i had talking about how the winter makes you 'fucking stupid.' i couldn't stop laughing because his impression of himself waiting for a bus in calgary with his friends was as follows:
"fuck, it's cold...it's really fucking cold...shit...man, i'm fucking cold."
brilliant and true.
i will however keep in mind while travelling that talk of the weather makes australians hostile.
