Description This is loosely based on a drawing I made back in 2002 named "Before I Lose Everything", after a song from the now disbanded Mighty Man and Yuk. But instead of making the same thing, I gave it a bit of a happier tone. Here's the link for the old piece: [link]

The smoke bubbles idea was taken from that time back in 2002 when one of my friends thought that she could make everyone in our group quit smoking by giving everyone a bubble maker. (She followed the logic that we'd be too preoccupied to light a cigarette while we were busy making bubbles.) A few moments later, one of us lit a cigarette and blew smoke into some bubbles. They looked so nice, everyone else lit up and no one was able to quit smoking.

replacing black with red added a nice effect to the image.
Hmmm
but I think theres something wrong with her left arm
maybe the elbow and the thickness? or the connection with her shoulder...?
nothing too big.

This is just gorgeous. There's a nice atmosphere to it. I love the colours, lighting and expressions as well as the anecdote to this.

Glad you liked the piece! I made it with Painter XI, AI, and Photoshop. But it was mostly done in Painter.

I kinda want to do that and I don't even smoke. Way to put my lungs in danger, man.

I really like this piece, especially how the cat is all, "What the hell are you doing, woman? o_O".
Is she a character or just like, random...because I'm getting ideas. Ideas are bad.

I don't smoke anymore too. I quit a few years ago after I had pneumonia and had to spend for the medical bill.

Hah! You got that right with the cat. She's a random character. Why? Did you think she was based on anyone?
