Description
The Fire-eye King watched the Queen of the dragons walk by. He stayed out of sight, planning how this encounter would play out. A smiled appeared on his face as she came closer. This would be interesting. He stepped onto the path, blocking he way. She stopped, startled, then frowned at him. The king smiled, knowing his appearance was… unusual. 'Let me introduce myself. I am Senkovah, King of Rienvia. I was just passing by, so to speak, and realized I was near the Coven. Am I?"
"Depends," the girl said. "Are you a hunter?"
"Do I look like one?"
"Not really, but you don't look like a King either."
"Oh. That won't do, will it?"
She chuckled, "Not if you expect people to bow to you."
"Oh heavens, no! People bowing? To me? Preposterous."
"Well umm… that's what people usually do around royalty." She smiled. "But I don't really-"
"You're the Queen, right?"
"Yeah, Eliz-"
"Of dragons?"
She looked sideways. "Yeah, I-"
"Why aren't you a dragon?"
She sighed and put her hand on her hip. "Well if you let me talk than maybe I can explain!"
Senkovah smiled. "Then continue, I sincerely apologize."
She raised an eyebrow. "Well, yes, I'm Elizabeth Laeta. But I'm usually called Lizzie. They chose me to be Queen."
"Ah, see now, I wasn't chosen, I was born King," Senkovah said smiling.
Lizzie shrugged. "The previous King and Queen died so-"
"I don't care."
"Will you stop interrupting me?! Jeez, can I talk for once?!"
"But I don't care," Senkovah said shrugging.
Lizzie folded her arms. "Yeah, you definitely aren't a King. How about you go back to where you came from."
"I don't think so, sorry."
"Oh really?" Lizzie put her hand on the hilt of her sword. "Whatever you want will have to wait cause-"
"Oh stop, my head hurts," he said rubbing his head. A blast of light shot from Lizzie right into Senkovah's chest. He was thrown back into a tree, then fell to the ground.
Lizzie stepped towards him, her sword out. "I told you not to interrupt me anymore."
Senkovah slowly got up, rubbing his chest. "Oww, sorry I forgot." He frowned. "That wasn't very ladylike."
"Your point is?" Lizzie said clenching her sword.
Senkovah shrugged and smiled. "No point. Only an observation." He looked at Lizzie and the fire in his eye flared. Lizzie screamed, her back arching as pain laced through her body. Her sword fell to the ground, then Lizzie followed, groaning in pain. Senkovah stepped towards her. "No hard feelings. It's only fair," he said smiling. Lizzie got to her hands and knees, the pain slowly subsiding. "Now, my dear Queen, I want to talk about-" Lizzie was engulfed in a brilliant light. Senkovah shaded his eyes, stepping back. "Oh, now what?"
His arm dropped when the light died down. He sighed and muttered, "This is completely fair." Where Lizzie once knelt was a magnificent dragon.
She smiled, looking down at her adversary. "You were complaining I wasn't a dragon."
"That wasn't a complaint. It was an observation." Lizzie roared, sending a stream of fire at Senkovah. He jumped into the woods, and tore through the forest. He could here Lizzie chasing after him.
The dragon had difficulty maneuvering through the trees. She roared, sending flames after Senkovah. He swerved to the right, towards the base of a cliff. Lizzie took flight, soaring over the trees. Senkovah watched the dragon circle the cliff, searching for him. He pulled himself onto a higher ledge and crouched down as Lizzie swooped by. He smiled, the climbed higher.
"Found you." Senkovah jumped to another ledge as Lizzie crashed into the cliff. Rocks fell towards him as he tried to pull himself up. He looked up at one and it exploded, smaller pieces raining down on him. He finally clambered up the looked at Lizzie.
A bright light burst from her and the rocks about to crush her disappeared. She shook her head to clear her mind then searched for Senkovah. Suddenly a weight landed on her back. Her eyes widened then she bolted into the air, trying to shake the King off. "How dare you?!" she screamed as Senkovah clung to the fur on her neck.
"I always wanted to fly on the back of a dragon!" he laughed.
"Well, I hope you have fun!" She spiraled through the air, the wind rushing past her. She shot straight up then plummeted to the ground.
"Oh no, I think I'm going to be sick," Senkovah said, his grip on her fur tightening.
"You better wait till you fall off!" Lizzie shouted. She spun towards the ground, making even herself dizzy.
"What if I told you the only reason I came was to ride a dragon!" Senkovah shouted over the roar of the wind.
"Then I'd say you're lying!"
"Well, you're right about that." A knife appeared in his hand and he stabbed it into Lizzie above her shoulder. She roared, her wings going slack. They fell towards the woods, blood streaming from the wound. Senkovah jumped off the dragon's back and grabbed the branch of a tree. He heard a crash as Lizzie fell to the ground.
He dropped to the floor and put the knife away. A flash of light signaled Lizzie's whereabouts. He walked over, then say she was back in her human forms, clouds covering her nakedness. "Well. That's certainly awkward," he said as she glared up at him.
"Don't try anything, you creep!" she spat while discretely healing her wound.
"Why do people always call me that?" he asked.
"Maybe it's cause you're staring at a naked girl!"
"It's not my fault you're naked." They heard a roar. Looking up, they saw several dragons far off. Lizzie looked at Senkovah, smiling. "Well, looks like my time is up," he said sighing. He took out the knife.
"I said don't try anything!" she yelled, making the clouds cover her more.
"I don't care!"
"If you kill me, than the other dragons will find you and rip you apart, piece by piece!"
"Well, I better make sure they don't find me." He knelt by her and grabbed her arm.
"Hey!" Light shot from Lizzie's hand straight at Senkovah's face. He yelled, staggering back, rubbing his blinded eyes. The fire in the right eye was flaring irregularly. He yelled again, falling to his knees, the fire growing in size. The dragons were getting closer.
Senkovah got to his feet and ran through the trees, the fire in his eye sending him the same pain he sent countless others.

tauros: *frowns* well basically these humans trapped me in a labyrinth and fed me children and then theseus came and killed me -a quote basic summary but it'll do. At least that's what the story is, the truth is far from that.

Tauros: well... when i was born, i was born like this. They found me in the middle of the town square. They took this as a bad omen from the gods and put me in the labyrinth, where i had to survive on rats. They put their children in there, who got lost and died of hunger. Thinking that i'd eaten them they'd do it every so often in order to "appease" me. It was truly sad what happened. Anyway this child was chosen, his name being Theseus. He was the only kid who made it through the labyrinth (he used a ball of twine). When he met me at first he was scared but then, after my explaining what happened, he understood me and helped me escape by following the twine. When we got out he told me to run, and that's what i did.

Tauros: so, after escaping from the labyrinth i walked around the island and found a small boat, well i was told later it was a boat, and i examined it. Soon a human approached me, an old man. He seemed not afraid of me. He took me to his house and told me that he remembered me from when they first put me in the labyrinth. When i was that young, i didn't know many words, only the words i heard from people talking to themselves before they died. (i was able to get by with theseus, not many words were exchanged) The old man, over the next few years, taught me how to speak and... how to learn.

Tauros: so, after a bunch of sailing, i couldn't tell where i was going, i eventually landed on the mainland of greece. The place i landed in had no people that i could see immediately, it was a forest, so i went further down the coast to look for signs of humans.

Tauros: yeah actually, i came upon a town full of humans! it was a port town that was actually quite small. A couple shops here and there and one marina with a dock that had a few boats moored. The thing i remember the most about this town was the temple. A big stone temple that was located on a cliff overhanging the sea.
