Description
I've been seeing these Influence Maps every where and thought it would be fun to explore my own, but in a slightly different way. These are the people whose work makes up the core of everything I project onto the page. It's hard to imagine my work without them.
You guys named most of them, but here's an official guide.
1: Mike Mignola / Adam Hughes / Will Eisner / Bernie Wrightson
2: Brian Stelfreeze / Michael Golden / Mark Silvestri / Richard Corben
3: Dave Stevens / David Fincher / Frank Miller / Jean Giraud "moebius
4: Claire Wendling / Miles Gunter / Koji Morimoto / John McTiernan
5: Stanley Kubrick / Olivier Vatine / Steven Spielberg / Satoshi Kon
6: Dave Johnson / Jim Lee / Katsuhiro Otomo / Chuck Jones
<--- OK, anyone else having a problem with this stupid preview thing over here? It covers the description and art. I can never read what's under it! How do I get rid of it?
(Thanks to Dusty for the Map! I just ripped yours off.

I have a subs list that was really hard not to include. Glen was certainly in there with Bruce. Also Cully, LeSean, Larry Stroman, YOU, John Byrne, Alan Davis and Mark Farmer, Glen Keane, Charles Burns, Dave Sim, Jeff Smith, John Romita Jr., and the list goes on and on.

Now, I get to stop thumbing through old dog-eared Body bags comics.
Did you see the X-Force . . . annual he did with Kirkman? THAT was awesome.

I'll be real impressed if anyone can name the ones you didn't. You got Otomo, that was a hard one!

Vatine? Oh man, good one! I LOVED his Star Wars, Zahn adaptation and my OLD old Aquablue trades. You know anything about new stuff from him? That would be awesome.

If you can only name one, I'm glad it's the Mig! I think he's the first guy I associated with a particular style. At the time I thought the Jim Lee, Rob Liefeld, Todd McFarlin way was the standard. Well, I guess it was.

Oh, I know some others but they've been mentioned (who doesn't love Eisner and Moebius for example?) But yeah, Mig was the first comic artist who's work I looked at and was surprised how much it stood out!

Which ones do you know? I figure a couple would be really tough. I'll reveal them all soon, I just want to give everyone a shot. That's why I posted their pictures. Chances are you know the work. It's important to me to also know the artist.
