OK, I already have one of your's faved, and I'm got several more in mind. But I want to comment on all of them, and I'm too tired and lazy to spend the rest of the night commenting.Β Β First comment is a happy birthday shout to you, Rob -- wishing you a year ahead of continuing inspiration, many moments of grace, creative production and maybe even some fun if you can squeeze it in. The rest of the comments: I love your sense of composition. Her eye is absolutely perfectly placed to make this emotionally and visually compelling. While her eye draws mine immediately into the picture, the fact that she's looking elsewhere introduces a mystery, an untold story of some kind. Of course, your use of color is impeccable (I love the reflection? absorption? of green in her skin tones), as is your mastery of light. Oh, and I'm sort of obsessed with drawing necks and under-the-chins perspectives at the moment, so this point-of-view you've taken just appeals to me to no end. Sort of a long-winded way for me to say I really love this.Β
