Description OK, tutorial time - Let's start with lesson one of HOW TO DRAW COMICS THE ROBSON WAY. Today's lesson, FORM. If you are struggling with foreshortening, or feeling like your image looks "flat", then draw these objects over and over again in as many positions as possible. In order to draw an arm in perfect perspective, you need to understand how to draw the cylinder underneath that arm in perfect perspective. THIS STEP SHOULD BE REPEATED OVER AND OVER, it is THE most important part of drawing, that's why it is Lesson 1. If you can draw these objects from any point of view, then everything else is going to be easy! Trust me, I still struggle with this today, and it's the one thing I think people overlook when reading their anatomy or figure drawing books. So get your sketch pad out, and start doodling these little shapes from all angles, you'll be surprised how bad you are at it! (don't worry, so am I for the most part). Video tutorial coming soon!
