what stuff do you use for drawing? I now use HB pencils to 8B and an eraser.

In this drawing or in general? I now use a combination of graphite (2H to 4B), charcoal (HB to 4B), & Derwent pastels. I use the black pastels to darken some areas & the white to highlight others because the eraser doesn't really cut it. I also started adding color to eyes. Now mind you, that's not in this. It's in my recent work. . I've always used those types of pencils & charcoals tho. I've found that above 4B you get this awful shine on the paper that detracts from the drawing. Thats why I use charcoal instead. It's easier to blend on top of graphite (use newsprint paper as a tortillion) & it doesn't reflect any light. Hope this helps a bit!
