How lovely! It really does look like Winter is drifting down from the mountains to across the borders of a lush forest to transform it.

I'm so glad you like it. I love doing fractal landscapes. The only problem is finding the time because they're so much more demanding than my other fractals.

They do look a lot more difficult. As much as I love the abstract in fractal, I have to appreciate the effort that you artists put into actually creating a scene such a landscape.

Thank-you so much! I want to be able to do some more, but I'm having trouble finding the time. Hopefully, I'll get a chance soon. I save bits and pieces when I'm exploring fractals until I have what I need to put a landscape together. I'd really love to be able to make a seascape. I've seen some beautiful ones here.

Awesome! Fractal landscapes are really hard to make, in my opinion.

Thanks! They are much harder. I find it helps to save bits and pieces of fractals I come across that look like landforms and plants. Then all I have to do is assemble them when I'm in the mood.

I have a collection of bits and pieces of fractals, but I don't combine them very often. I often start with a design idea, and then go looking.

I have to be especially inspired to combine bits and pieces, but it helps when I have a design and can't find what I'm looking for.

Indeed. I wish I had time to do all the art projects I'd like to do. Collages of fractals would definitely be included.
Have you seen Batoruco's work? That guy can make collages like you wouldn't believe!

I've seen his photomanipulations, but not his collages. I've just been to his gallery but, for some reason, I can't get past the first page of anybody's gallery. The links all go back to the first page. I hope this is something DA is working on.

Odd. Try a different browser. deviantART seems to work best on Firefox. I'm not having that problem, fortunately, but I sympathize.

It seems to be working better today. Now my only problem is that deviantart refreshes in my browser every 10 seconds or so. I'm definitely going to have to switch to Firefox.

Oh really! Refreshes in your browser? I HATE THAT! I'm sure glad it doesn't do that on me. Definitely try Firefox.

Thank-you! It was my first one. I'm working on a few more, piecing them together as I find fractals that fit.

Thank-you! I'm still exploring fractals and saving bits and pieces that look like they'd work in landscapes. I'd like to be able to do more of them and, maybe, some space scenes too.
