Yeah the promo shows it thundering and Peridot storms out of the bathroom saying "IT'S HAPPENING". I assume she means that the Cluster is hatching.

I'm sure peridot does know how to, but its not something that is as strong as her extensions, so she might just have to get used to using it maybe

I dunno, I mean, during the War, Pearl didn't even use her own spear, but a sword. So maybe like how Fusion is frowned upon, maybe the use of personal weapons by Gem classes like Pearls (which Peridots are supposedly the "upgraded" versions of).

yea, I think its either a modern shield, or possibly a small blade like a dagger or machete

I think it'd be cool if she had something like cat claws (though I doubt it), but yeah I can see her with some kind of futuristic looking blade or machete.
