Description
Okay, so I just finished attaching the mane this morning, so now I can show you some stuff about that plushie. First of all, why is there a "Prototype" in the name of this deviation? Well, I decided to make a prototype, just as I was making a real robot (not to mention I had to make one to know how to sew this or that and how the different fabrics would work together). Also, this plushie still follows my Mk II pattern, which is a modified version of 's pattern, where the future Sweetie Bots will follow my new pattern. Why did I make this plushie in jersey instead of minky? It's a robot, silly! Yeah, for all my plushies, I want to follow some sort of logic. I'm more accustomed to making real ponies, but here it's a robot, so it doesn't have any coat nor hair, it's more plastic or metal, so I couldn't use minky to simulate the fur, so I preferred using jersey to have a smooth surface. Which is a bit painful cause jersey has more stretch than minky... And I didn't notice that the pink jersey I bought was more fragile than the purple one... Y'know, stuff like that.
Why did I choose to sew appliqué and not sewing the pieces altogether at first? There wouldn't have been any challenge. Yeah, seriously. I want to improve myself as a plusher (yeah, I like creating words), so if I did sew the pieces together, there wouldn't have been any challenge. Plus, if you search some Sweetie Bot images here on dA or on Google, you can see the exoskeleton is a little thick, so I thought using appliqué would imitate that thickness.
Why the hay is this picture taken in my bedroom?! Well, it's ugly outside, and it's a prototype plushie here, not a finished one, so I preferred not taking the photo outside. Sorry for that doom-ish mess here.
Who in Equestria is Sweetie Bot? She's a character created for Friendship is Witchcraft, a parody of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. She's basically a robotic version of Sweetie Belle. You should watch that parody, it's freaking awesome (and funny, with Apple Bloom with the Code Lyoko logo as her butt tattoo for a few seconds)
This plushie is 100% hand sewn, made out of jersey (with later an addition of organza) and stuffed with anti-ignition fiberfill
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and all related characters are property of Hasbro, DHX Media, IDW Publishing and Lauren Faust ( )
Friendship is Witchcraft is a fan-project led by Sherclop Pones.

Thanks dude! But I still have to fix some issues on the mane, cause right now, there are some places that are a little too long and I want them to be perfect... They will be limited editions, after all.

No worries; that's what work in progress is all about.
