Description
This probably doesn't require much of a description; I trust that everything you see is pretty self-explanatory.My favorite idea that I came up with during the course of drawing this was that the "fruit" the tree is bearing is in actually a collection of miniature universes; I regret not making that an even more prominent aspect of the composition. Oh, well, too late now. While everything else is colored digitally, those were done in acrylic paints. I don't mind telling you, it was quite the challenge, creating all those universes and filling them with hundreds of billions of inhabited planets and trillions of people. No wonder my drawing arm hurts. I made one universe devoid of life, just to give myself a bit of a break. It's a shame you can't make out any of that detail in the finished product, because if you could, you'd hopefully be suitably impressed.
EDIT: I may have inadvertently predicted the twist at the end of the episode "The Never Ricking Morty" with this piece.

Thanks. I highly doubt I'll win anything. But I can at least take comfort in the fact that the one asshole who did an extremely homophobic entry about a dimension where fascist gays are in charge definitely won't win either.

The one with Freddie Mercury, right? The person who did that one must have been crazy if they thought it was a good idea.

This piece is fantastic. So much stuff happening. I haven't watched enough Rick and Morty.
Your coloring choices always stand out to me as being especially good, as well.

Thanks. Coloring has been a bit of a challenge for me in the past. This is the first pic I've colored using my new laptop and it's made things a lot easier on me. Up until now, I've had to do all my coloring on an old Mac with a monitor that's too dark- stuff like that tree trunk would look almost completely black on it, for instance. It took a lot of trial and error to get things looking the way I thought they should- running across the street to the library to see how my work looked on their computers was my best solution until recently. So, it's good to know that that handicap hasn't noticeably affected my coloring choices.

Well they look especially good here... you use a tablet or is this all mouse?
I'm keeping you in mind if I can ever afford to pay someone to color... Which will probably not ever happen...

The coloring is all done using a mouse. I got a tablet as a gift a few Christmasses back, but I never got the hang of it. Maybe it wasn't a very good tablet and/or maybe it didn't work so well with my computer.

It's a pretty amazing scene all right. But I have to say that I don't understand any of it, nor do I recognize any characters or objects. Evidently I am not your "target audience." I do very much understand and appreciate the work that went into it, though.

Well, if you couldn't tell, I was being ironic when I implied that it should be perfectly clear what's happening in this scene. This is fanart for the Rick and Morty contest that ended last night, but even if you were familiar with the show, it probably wouldn't help you much. Aside from the five main characters, everything else in this pic is a product of my own mind, so if you did somehow recognize any of it, it would be a sign that you possess some sort of telepathic abilities and then we'd have to burn you for being a witch.

The latter half of your commentary deserves the win alone...Man do I love the Meesek out of the drawing though. Aside from the core cast no being is pulled from the show, which I find a really effective homage on how inspiring (and delightfully fuckin' bizarre, dawg) the series can be. The creativity you've poured here should make it a treat for both fans and the poor, misguided uninitiated.
(Observations from Clockchat The Sick Freak: The creature that's devouring Beth has its......perfectly lined up to where she'd have her.......if she actually had 'em. Bravo.)

I know I already just replied to you privately via skype, but just in case anybody else is thinking the same thing, while I did notice it belatedly, the thing with Beth and that bird-like creature's wattle was not intentional. Thanks again for the comment.

I'll be honest this isn't normally the sort of drawing that appeals to me, but it is very well drawn and parts of it are appealing, in particular I do like the universe fruit, I also get a chuckle out of the lady looking bored while being devoured.

Yeah, well, iirc, you did tell me that you're only on this site for the fetish art. I'm glad you found a couple parts to like about this anyway.

I can imagine what your illustrations of Lovecraft scenes would be like!!!!

Hm, well, if I were to illustrate Lovecraft, I hope I'd have the ability, if I wanted, to make my illustrations a bit less cartoony and whimsical and more macabre or scary, kind of like this old sketch:
