Description
Nothing special. I've just been wanting to do a pic with these two for a long time, so I finally did, even though I never came up with an interesting or different way to depict them.Related content

nice, it's always good to see Ivy and Harley together.

Sounds like a good holiday theme: "The Harley and the Ivy!" Perhaps you could draw them as Santa's elves. Would that qualify me as the kid in "Bad Santa?"

That's actually a pretty cool idea, which makes you practically nothing like the kid to whom you're referring, since nearly everything he wants to see me draw either bores me to tears or weirds me out.

Thanks! Perhaps Batman could be snared by holly, Robin immobilized by a wreath or bow, and Batgirl tied up with Christmas lights while Harley and Ivy prance about 👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Okay, now you are weirding me out a little bit. Heh. Nah, I'm just kidding. But anyway, my mind has already been reviewing different possibilties for what shape said pic might take, so it might not go in exactly that direction. We'll see.

it may not be a "new" depiction, but some things you just don't mess with. seeing the two of them back to back adds a certain quality. it's kind of like they're partners, but without a whole helluva lot of trust between them, or something like that.
as always, you sis a great job on coloring the pic itself. did you paint it or is it something else??

Thanks. Yeah, it's acrylic paint on watercolor paper. The texture of the paper was a bit much, so I admit that I did blur it ever so slightly in Photoshop, but I didn't think it was enough to merit putting it under a "mixed media" category. There seem to have been several different versions of Ivy, but I decided to just stick with the one I'm most familiar with.

I really liked these two when I used to watch Batman. Very nice use of colors and textures! Great work.
