That's cool. I was actually thinking about this not that long ago and I don't know if I've had that many serious crushes on cartoon characters myself. There are plenty I've found attractive, but not that many crushes, per se. The first cartoon crush I remember having was Jeannie from the Hanna Barbera cartoon of the same name. That was in kindergarten. Then I suppose I probably was somewhat infatuated with Jessica Rabbit, naturally. That might be it.

Oh, thanks. The background was actually originally someone else's stock watercolor texture. I probably should have given proper credit, but I put it through so many filters, etc. in Photoshop that it's no longer even recognizable, plus the person who made it deactivated their account.

If you're asking how they bridged the gap between the movie and the TV show, I recall having seen a fan comic once that tried to provide an explanation for the discrepancies.

I was a pretty big fan of the show myself. Maybe I wasn't super keen on some of the gross-out humor, but still, I liked it a lot. I've thought about maybe buying the DVD set.
