Description
Quick homage to my favorite penguin, with a nod to Doctor Who. Bloom County was one of my favorite comic strips as a kid, even though I didn't know what was going on at least half the time. But I loved the weirdness and Berke Breathed's artwork. I also loved Outland, which was even weirder, until it eventually morphed back into Bloom County.Related content

I was a kid when that strip was big. What the hell was up with Bill the Cat?

Bll was obviously created to be a disgusting parody of Garfield. The initial conceit was that he would be so unappealing that he'd be unmarketable- that plan pretty much backfired. In universe, I think they said his brain had been replaced with a tater tot.

Bill the Communist cat,,,had a t-shirt, when Bill and Opus were running for President,said, 'don't blame me, I voted for Bill n Opus'

Then in the last year of the strip, they put Donald Trump's brain into Bill after Trump was smashed to bits by the anchor of his boat.
Now there's something to "ACK! THBBFT!" about.
