Description It seems redundant to upload the same art twice, but here are the two drawings I did of myself as Star Trek characters side by side.

Thanks. Β This actually gave me the idea for a comic;Β I just am not sure when/if I'll ever get around to it.

Andorians, Orions, Catians, I'm loving this Artwork.
I'd love to see more of it from you!

Thanks! Doing these two has kind of made me desire to do more Star Trek-themed stuff.

Oh, that's great!
I think these two pieces are brilliant and I can see there is a lot of potential for more Star-Trek themed art.
With your personal art style, I can't wait to see anything else you produce!

I like it! You can tell it's the same person, and both drawings look great! Ever thought of doing this as a photo? (i'd love to do a Lt. M'ress costume, but would need a very tight corset! Ah, to be young again and not in denial!) Great work and here's hoping for a better year for you!

Thanks. I doubt this would look as good photographed. The nice thing about drawing your own self-portrait is you can make yourself look better than you do in reality.

Oh, I know how that is. Could still be fun, though. And I really liked that you posted them side by side. You have more talent than you realize!

Ha! I get it ... and I love it! Nice juxtaposition. I really like the yin yang of it all.

I'm going to have to do something like this ... when I was a kid I wanted to be a soldier ... but that never happened. I'd play soldier with my friends, then go home and do housework with an apron and keep my stepmother entertained.

But it all worked out. I like who and what I am now. I just have to be better at it.

Great. Now I have another art project to work on ... gee, thanks, Dave ...

So I'm guessing the second pic shows the brave, manly captain when he's off duty, enjoying his hobby?

I hadn't thought of that. Interesting hypothesis...

Think of it as breaking the mould. A Star Trek protagonist who isn't afraid to show off his feminine side... or, if you want it to be more a comedy, in fact prefers to hide his feminine side by adopting another persona whenever he's "supposed" to be on break.
