Description
This is a pencil drawing I was commissioned to do by Matthew Corey/MattinNC74 , who, when he was a teenager, wrote a script for Star Trek: The Next Generation (back when Trek had an open submission policy), which Paramount bought and turned into the episode "True Q," guest starring Olivia d'Abo as Amanda Rogers. While TNG maintained the basic premise of a young person discovering they're really a Q, the story went through some major rewrites before shooting commenced (even so, it's undeniably very cool to be able to say that a story you came up with got turned into an actual Star Trek episode). MattinNC74 asked me to draw something based on his original script, which he'd titled "Q-Me?" and would have featured more new and returning quest characters, including Wil Wheaton as Wesley Crusher and Naomi Judd as Robin Lefler. On the right is my depiction of two of Wesley's Academy classmates from that original draft, Heidi and Jonathan, drawn to resemble Olivia d'Abo and Matt Corey himself.
