Description
This is my best drawing of Rocky right now. I definitely plan on coloring it! I've taken a liking to his new look.Related content

I made it up from a couple of different kanji. If there actually is a word that goes with it, That'd be pretty wierd.

how many Kanji's have you made?
if so, send it to my e-mail. Then I'll look it up.
When I was taking Japanese class, Tanaka Sensei told us that there were over 1,000 Kanji sybols.

That's pretty much the only one. Some time after I uploaded that one, I changed the symbol to the Chinese symbol for "Warrior."
I do also know how to write Axel and Rocky's names in Japanese. You'll see it when I add the finished versions.

The lines for the chest muscles seem to make his shirt look a bit too tight, whereas the muscle lines on the upper arm make him look like he's been scruffin' around the woods or whatnot. Also, you may want to connect that line for the left thumb. At the moment, it seems that the palm is a little too large. Lastly, I'm not sure if this is true or if it's just that I forgot what lombax's ears look like (I haven't played an R&C game for a while), but the ears seem just a little too big. Besides that, the new look looks pretty neat.

What do you mean by "scruffin' around in the woods?" I'm not sure how you think it looks like that.

Like he's had a few little scrapes from twigs or whatnot. ...just being active 'n stuff. Nothing bad. I think it looks pretty cool to have a character with roughed up clothing and all.

Speaking of, the same type of situation happened to me not too long ago today. I was going through the woods while looking for fox dens. I got some knicks from thorns and all, then I went up to a field that has two horses in it. One won't stay around when I come around, and the other doesn't really mind most of the time. Anyway, I pet the one who doesn't mind, then went back into the woods (only to get jabbed by more thorns, and I found no more possible fox dens). On my way back home, I stopped in the field again. "Just hop on it's back. It's used to having people ride it," are the words that I remember my father saying. So I tried once, and the horse took off. I landed on my feet that time though. Second time, I got my center of gravity while I was on my belly, curled over the horses back. However, the horse was already trotting, and picking up speed. Anywhose, here's what I saw next: limb, leaves behind my glasses, sky through leaves, sky getting 6 feet further away, big bright light. So when I saw the light, I heard a thud, then I started making very odd noises while trying to breath. My first thought was "Oh crap, my glasses!" rather than "That hurt. How can I get rid of this pain?" I thought "Lay on back" after about 30 seconds of looking around to make sure that nobody saw what just happened. Anyway, to save details, I'll say it like this: I got up after about 1.5 minutes, climbed up into the top of a barn (using a mildly save ladder), then sat in a chair for about 10 minutes and told my friend about it (this friend tried to help me get on the horse earlier this winter, but we failed, and he almost got trampled into barbed wire XD).

Astounding drawing, wonderful work on the huge muscles and proportions but he still looks very playful and innocent. I can see why he'd despise school uniforms and metal detectors. What does the Chinese calligraphy on the dogtag mean?

It's not really an existing symbol. I made it up.
Metal detectors would be a problem.

I agree. It is your best Rocky yet. And I do so love how you draw your tight clothing. ^_^
Now, all you need to work on is varying your poses a bit more. ;3

When drawing Rocky, It's a little difficult because I have to pay attention to the muscle detail. I'm getting better at it though.
