This is late event 7 artwork. Cause I'm a genius and being late is like the new on time.

All Marcus wanted to do was go back home to tell his parents goodbye. It was his biggest regret after joining Circus Darkrai that he didn't get to say goodbye to his parents before leaving. When Luna came, his dream was granted and he was given wings. With these wings, he could fly home to not only say goodbye, but to show both his mother and father that he was perfectly fine. He practiced and practiced until he was able to fly well enough to make the trip. He headed off back to his home with high spirits.

What happened however... was something Marcus would have never been able to predict.

Clyde and Mirium, his parents, were horrified at what they saw. A young Yveltal, an omen of death, speaking in their precious boy's voice. They pulled away, they stared in horror, they couldn't see the truth. They believed that the god of death before them had taken their boy and was using his voice to lure them to their deaths as well. They refused to see the truth, refused to let him explain, and refused to let death take them. Clyde declared their son to be dead and that in no way would they ever be tricked into thinking he was alive. They'd waited for months for him to come home, and now they had their answer as to what happened.

In this moment, Marcus became an orphan. He flew back to the circus with a broken heart and a feeling of loss like he'd never felt before in his life. He knew that there was no way to convince them of who he was as this Yveltal, as well as no way to do so if he ever returned to being a Keldeo. His town is so small, it'd be a fat chance should the circus ever wind up there again.

His dream had cost him his parents.

.... he should have never gone back home.
