* Scald (Water) - Used both in and out of battle. Outside of battle it is used to warm Reddy up during cold spells. As such, he can remain comfortable in winter even with the few clothes he has on.

* Ice Fang (Ice) - Used both in and out of battle. Outside of battle it is used to help cool Reddy down. This can be done in two ways. First; Redscale will bite himself and freeze that part of his body. Second; Redscale focuses the cooling effects on his entire body (took years to learn - takes a lot of energy to accomplish).
* Mimic (Normal) - Not often used as it puts a strain on his body, but kept because it is still a useful attack
* Dragon Pulse (Dragon)
* Rock Slide (Rock)
* Brick Break (Fighting)
* Hone Claws (Dark - stat increasing)

- HISTORY:

Redscale was born to a caring family. Well, somewhat. He had his mother, his father (Adrian) and his older brother (Stephano). For the first year, it seemed like everything was going just perfectly. His father would ignore his existence, his mother would make up for that, and what time Steph wasn't spending under the fathers watchful eye, he spent with Redscale (whom at the time was named Smith).

A year in, the family came under attack by a gang of vicious Pokemon. They were after one thing, leaving Redscale and his brother to run and hide while their parents fought them off. Redscale was closest to his mother because of how much time she spent with him, so when he saw her being pulled forward and heard her scream, he darted out from his hiding place to go to her.

He came to a stop when she stumbled back, turning around as if to embrace him. He lifted, wanting that embrace to come. What he got was what would fill his dreams for the next year or so. Her stomach had been cut clean open, her life now gone. Redscale was frozen with fear as she fell, covering him and shoving him into her body through that open gap. The attacks saw this and stepped on the dead mothers back, forcing it down more on Redscale to entrap him.

Adrian had been stabbed by one of the attackers, killing him almost instantly. Stephano, seeing all of this, ran from the scene and successfully escaped.

When the mother was removed from laying on Redscale, he found himself captured and thrown into a cage where he watched the men flay his mother. He slunk down, horrified by the scene as her skin was cleanly separated and her body thrown to lay next to his dead fathers.

He was then taken to his next destination... the slave auctions.

From then on Redscale became a slave to abusive and angry hybrid owners, aimed at taking their aggression on the pure-bred race out on their own. He was beat, tortured, forced to do things that embarrassed him, and taught the basic's of many different skills in order to make him a better slave.

When sold on the streets, he was made to treat his purchasers as his loving parents. Calling them mother and father and pretending as if they were going to be giving him a normal, caring home. This became his trigger for him. He started to act this way even without realizing it upon his purchasing from other buyers. It warped his idea on what family really was.

The only scar Redscale has from his time in slavery is his missing eye. He tried to escape his enslavement when he was a Croconaw, His owner, who was a Scyther/Kabutops, chased him down and recaptured him. As punishment, his right eye was removed by one of those scythes. He didn't try to escape again after that. At least, not until his most recent, and final owner.

A Beheeyem named Cuthbert took him when his friend, a hybrid Steelix by the name of Svenn, got bored of slamming the Feraligatr around. For three years the psychic owned Redscale and for three years, Redscale never physically felt the lash of a crazed pure-bred owner. Though rare, he'd had pure-bred owners in the past. Each one of them was just as horrid as the hybrids, believing that because Reddy had been raised by hybrids, he was no better (and on top of that a whimpering pathetic slave).

With Cuthbert, it was different. The Beheeyem owner, instead of physically beating Redscale when he was bad or just when he got bored... would mentally torture him instead. Reddy would be worked to the bone during the day with endless chores only to go to sleep and find himself having his dreams manipulated by his owner. Weather moments of his past being amplified, times changed to show different events, or just created dreams to test endurance... Redscale found himself under the torment of night terrors every night of his life enslaved to this man.

He escaped from the Beheeyem out of pure desperation to get away during a transaction to his next set of owners. It was from this escape that Redscale found himself succeeding. if only for his desperately short time. He isn't sure if the Beheeyem will find him or not, and prays to the heavens that he doesn't.
