I've wanted to do a picture like this for a long time now, as a tribute to one of the most amazing series I've ever read/seen. it's just packed full of so many wonderful characters, lessons, and memories that I wanted to include as much as I could in one drawing. about a year ago I never could've had the endurance to finish something like this, but I'm pretty proud of my improvement since then! that's one of the main things that art school has helped me with, I think. right now I have a few weeks of *actual* summer break in between summer school and the fall semester, so I really enjoyed working on a big drawing like this just for fun. (since I won't have time to do much drawing for *fun* once school starts :/)

I really thought a lot about the composition and colors while drawing this, so I hope it shows. ^^ Ed is front and center, of course. his outfit is based both on the scene from chapter 1 and from the final battle, where is shirt is ripped.

I'll have this as a print for sale at animefest and I'll also have an online store up and running soon if anyone's interested in purchasing one online :]

oh, the title is a quote by Winry from the Milos movie. xD I don't know why, it just popped in my head while I was drawing this
