Finally. Finished it. x___x; I've been working on this on and off for the last month and a half! And been finished 2 "Pale Blue Gray" Ciaos in the process. Not to self: by Sketches next time. ._.;

SO! It's my Lorelei ... She sweeeeeeeeeet! And this is the first coloured drawing that I've done of her in, oh, a year and a half? x__x Longer, even. And it scanned terribly because I didn't want to rip it out of my sketchpad! T_T I'm taking it into school tomorrow to see if I can include a sketchbook of stuff in my anime style in my portfolio, and I don't trust my bag to not eat it whole.

BLAH.

Yes, Lorelei. Looking, as my mum put it when I asked if she was too angry, "forlorn". o_o; She looks sort of flat ... it's kinda hard to tell the difference between her skin and her dress ... >_<. I reeeeally like her dress and hair, anyway! The ringlets and frills actually took about an hour alone to ink ... because I'm slow like that. But I'm pleased with them. Blargh.

The title ... Lorelei is as good as mute. She very, VERY rarely talks; when she does, it's only ever something incredibly important. Like, life or death situation. Not like normal speech at all, either. Otherwise she talks through her brother, by controlling his speech ... because they have freaky-deaky-mindy-links ... YEAH ENOUGH OF THAT! She has a pretty harp and she plays it all the time and here it is kthx.

... Oh yeah, anyone else who tells me that she looks like Mana will die a SLOW and PAINFUL death. SERIOUSLY.

Pleeeeeeeeease give me some of that lovely-lovely critique on this one and rip it up into little tiny pieces? I'll love you even more! I took pictures of this to make into a marker tutorial (don't expect it for a bit, though), and I think I'm going to do a better thing on normal skin and more ordinary colours first, but if people think that this will work well enough ... *shrugs*.

Materials: ink, markers, acrylics, ink, salt. Time: ... something like 20 hours? x_x Slowly, on and off since half way through October.
