Description Hulders are a seductive forest creature found in Norwegian and Scandinavian folklore. It's kind of a forest siren, luring men and woman to the underworld. They had the form of a beautiful woman, but with a cow tail. Read more detailed on wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hulder&n… ;
Here is my version of one and gonna be included sometime in the Wight People story. I wanted to draw creature that resembled what I had heard about the creatures, but make it more aquatic. My idea is that under conditions of low light, fog and the forest, this creature could easily be mistaken as a beautiful woman. I'm unsure about the nose and have made a version without.

I would like to here your comment about this one.

I definitely see what you're going for and in low visibility situations it could possibly be mistaken for a human. However, if that's what you're aiming for then you might want to take the silhouette by blocking the whole figure in black and see how it reads at a distance and possibly blurred in some way. That could help you in designing this creature to better fit the folklore but also keep your vision alive as well. Designing a character can be difficult but just keep some basic design elements in mind when doing so as those can be very important. You want your character to convey as much information as possible in as little amount of time as possible. Since I imagine this character would be introduced in a low visibility setting like a foggy swamp or something similar you'll want to focus on the silhouette of the creature to better capture that human like appearance. This can be also largely be accomplished by the pose its presented in. As it is right now I feel it would be fairly hard to mistake her for a human like figure out in the wilderness. You're on the right track with the thick curvy thighs and the larger upper chest area but try showing her off in a pose and composition that exaggerates those features better and shows them off. As well as you should always do, keep in mind your proportions and anatomical structure! Right now the left side arm is looking out of place and forced onto her hip instead of naturally being there. Look up references if you're having trouble! I feel gesture is a very important aspect to conveying her character so make sure you take some time to pose her.
