Pardon my workflow (and that the pics aren't so well placed on the grid), obviously I am not a professional, I keep flipping around my canvas, abusing liquify to fix loopsidedness and not so right expression, playing around with brightness to get the feel right, using dodge and burn etc. I also can't keep my focus on fixing one thing at a moment to make it the way I really want. As you can see I fix the face halfway and then focus on other thing (hair) and then I went back on the face details and so on. I know it's not a very right hahahah, and I'm still inconsistent with my workflow everytime I draw. The point is I want to show that we're all allowed to be wrong, experiment, and learn. It is hard to get things right, it's time consuming, but if we want to take time it'll surely pay off.Again, I am not a professional, I struggle a lot too, and I too, am learning. Don't be afraid of getting things wrong, retry and retry.

It's awesome, I love the lighting. I'm still trying to improve my lighting and making images pop like this. I think we always see faults in our work more than others do and I for one look up to your standard.

Thanks a lot! Key of lighting other than practice if you use Photoshop is you can play around with dodge and burn tool, exposure/gamma correction, curve, selective color, any of that to inspire or widen your color options if you're stuck with picking colors. I personally really like to use dodge tool in lighting mode to pick what the natural color of light part of the skin/hair would be like and then pick the color.
