It's quiet. Winter has just ended. Spring is just around the corner. Most of the predators are busy elsewhere... good time for the Shumru to take advantage of the hunting in the areaThis one here is a Red-Tipped Shumru, one of five species of Shumru with varying color patterns and mating techniques. This was a suggestion to draw a Shumru hunting by and i had fun making it

yep, some of the serpent dragons with flapping wings still use their wings for display purposes or even for gliding across crevices or trees; the ampithere is the only feathered serpent that can fly, they evolved from a different branch next to these guys

haha i wish it were 3D, then it would be easier and quicker
i start with a hand drawn sketch on paper, then scanned into photoshop CS4, and layer after layer i use a thick paintbrush tool to sorta "draw" in the colors based on the body parts, then when all is put together, i start shading, creating feathers, adding filters, then reshading based on the background

DA seems to focus mainly around anime and even more so fetishes and mature art.

hahah that is true, ive seen that happen a lot even years before i got my account 
maybe in time i might get recognized for the dragon stuff, people seem to favorite most of my dragon stuff than anything else
