I've been wanting to create a centaur and write a story about them for so long now and finally got to it.This is Zhephyr, he's got a pretty complex background that I would rather keep in the story i'm writing, but here is his design for now.
His horse coat is from a zorse design that I picked up from Argentievetri awhile ago and finally did something with it.

GAHH, I haven't been on DA long so I hope I'm not the only centaur nut on here interested in creating a story too though my ideas are shortened for a reason...
But GO for it! You've got my love and support if you ever feel like making a leap of fate in making a story about centaurs!! *.*
I have my t-shirt and centaur sticker on my car that reveals enough centaur pride, lol! ...No one knows what they are where i live so its mortifying on how small this world is.

LOL, I use to be one for fan fiction and fan art off of final fantasy 7 and then anime titles but I've grown to respect and love all artist committed to making their own characters and loss some interest in drawing fan art.Β
I like the discovery of creating your your own vision.
So for me its centaurs as a number one and having seen other centaur artist-that is people actually into the subject, nothing that strays- its worth it.
Plus I'm a middle ages area lover. I don't fav modern area and themes too much
And look into this awesome idea! Ideas are hard to conjure up that its good to ask around-easier when its a club that pertains to your interest-nothing random.

I'm currently really hooked on reading fanfics actually haha but I really enjoy working on my own original stories when I find the motivation to, I've got a few projects at the moment.
I couldn't agree more, I don't much enjoy modern set stories but some are still pretty good.
Ideas from others help a lot especially if you're someone whose mind is everywhere at once like mine xD

Motivation fule is the same as a car's it needs something to run on so have plenty of it! I do that tirelessly in finding resourcesΒ like Jrpgs and my older fav manga collection I have, to help inspire-for centaurs, horses of course of course! (I'm not into the new age anime-I love good stories over superficial images which they rely TOO much on. It doesn't have to be fancy-the art or over thrown onto. Story sells more then imagery to me.)
(I was engrossed on a lot of fan fics back then esp final fantasy 7 ones. Some people are darn good at sticking with the story and adding their own world mixed into it to make it balance and realistic-then silly or superficial )
Its great you have a list of works going on in your art! Wish there were enough folks like that here that are artsy. Never a lot of constructive natured people here at times, so it sucks. (I learned how to crochet on you tube-you never stop learning and I love creating anything
