As he prepared to face his final challenge, the Kalos League, the boy who’s strength they had all come to respect so much turned around, and spoke these words, and for no longer than a fraction of a second, one could certainly catch a glimpse of the feelings of doubt brought by his past experiences.
In that moment, only Pikachu understood what it truly meant to be Ash Ketchum~
-----------------------------------------------------------------------Something different this time, I'm not even quite sure what inspired me to do this, but basically this is about Ash's inner sadness, knowing that he might have to start over yet again soon, that the loop will indeed be endless.
Granted, this time his chances of winning seem ACTUALLY quite real so I'm excited about that, but nevertheless gotta stay realistic when it comes to this show. No matter what happens I'll never forget about XY, it's been a great time~

I know it's been a halve year since Kalos ended but this is so powerful. If he ever looked back at his travels he must feel a little depressed. I wonder what keeps him going..

On the contrary, I'd say it's all the great experiences and friends he's made alongside those journeys that keeps him going. He may have not won it all yet, but he's certainly gained a ton from every region. And with the recent presentation of the idea that being a Pokemon master actually means befriending all Pokemon, that's all the more likely.

Well, Alola so far has been fairly different to the other seasons. He's not even here for a league so it's a break from that kind of stress.

If Ash had used both Charizard and Sceptile, it would have been very different results. Ash would have won. Honestly I want to see what an Ash-Sceptile or Ash-Charizard. All three would be cool in a battle. Or a Triple battle all three on the field at once........

Technically, Ash caught Aipom in the Hoenn arc. Even though he was in Kanto, some people count it as Hoenn. And I'm kinda upset because he didn't catch more than six. While I admit, some of the Kalos Pokemon were pretty dumb, there were still some good ones that would've been perfect for Ash.

I think we got all of Ash's new Pokemon for the Kalos arc. I'm more interested who he going to catch when Alola arc starts. We can know that he going to catch Pikipek for sure. I'm make my guess for Pokemon for the main group to have. Most the time I right with shock.

I'm actually not as sure about Pikipek simply because of Rowlet, if he gets a starter that's a bird they might wanna give the route 1 bird to someone else. I'd be fine with him getting both though, I love bird Pokemon :]

Ash Alola team will maybe be Rowlet, Popplio, Pikipek, Grubbin, Salandit, and Wimpod.
I can see Rowlet the mature and one that keep others for fight or arguing with each other. Popplio is the one the like to show off and a good battler. Pikipek is the loyal and help one. Grubbin is a bit grumpy and serious. Salandit is the tricker of the group, and Wimpod is the coward the Ash want to help to be strong and brave.

Yeah true, though Talonflame is the only one who really looks like a regular bird so I guess it depends on how Rowlet turns out. I guess it's likely that it'll evolve into something a bit more human looking, like Hawlucha, so yeah both Rowlet and Pikipek are likely enough.
I like your ideas for their personalities, that could very well happen.
In terms of designs I really want him to get Rowlet, Pikipek and Grubbin. Salandit would be pretty cool too. Though I'll love whatever he catches so it doesn't matter that much haha.

Yea, but we alway have those favorite we really like Ash to get and I'm shock that he get a few a really like to see him get.
Also still need to finish of the Kalos League then deal with Team Flare finally before going to Alola. Also with Ash's Kalos team meeting all his other Pokemon too.
