I don't think I went for the threesome on the first playthrough, but my reaction was rather similar to the one in the comics when Alistair ditched me and I Β found out that it was all about his personal quest. That one moment was hearth wrecking more than it was frustrating so I picked this situation to illustrate my point

every BioWare game has a save cap. The only game related to a BioWare game was KOTOR II: The Sith Lords which was primarily by Obsidian and I think was without a save cap ... that or my memory of this is fuzzy. I usually went for saving when it seemed important enough to be like... okay let's try that again.
Isabella is back in Dragon Age 2... though she looks different that's for sure and she's on your character's team.

I have a lot of saves, it's just I'd have to backtrack a lot to fix Alistair's hardening
And I finished DA2 as well, though it's not that inspiring as DAO.

sometimes sequels don't live up to the original and of course 2 has only one race with 3 classes. Its the class that weighs in on sibling survival (soldier/rogue = Bethany lives/Carver dies; mage = Bethany dies/Carver lives). I found that out when I went for a Mage playthrough.
Yes the hardening in DAO or lack thereof does bear out in approval/disapproval.
My Wardens have been with Morrigan, Leilana, and Alistair. My first Warden is the one with Morrigan (I have been of her voice actress for years - Claudia Black). Her mother (voiced by Kate Mulgrew who I first heard through Star Trek: Voyager was instantly recognizable for me).

The downside of the Dragon Age wiki is that you don't read it too closely and end up making mistakes or you read it too closely and end up spoiling major plot points that should have been left as a surprise. Or at least that's how it was for me. =/ Made the "right" choices but at the cost of role playing.

Somehow, even though I've read the wikis, etc, I STILL manage to pick the wrong option! I've done so twice now with two different characters *cue epic fail* I blame it on his adorakble sad puppy dog-ness.

Yeah, unfortunately for me I tend to be very mechanical about how I play Origins, I want the best endings so I end up trolling the wiki on the best things to say in dialogue with my party mates which I imagine from an incharacter perspective for the most part at least when dealing with Morrigan versus the rest of the party, probably seems a bit bipolar.

This is true and thankfully a lot of the members of the party tend to have similar temperaments...even Sten doesn't really want you to agree with him whole heartedly, it's mostly just Morrigan.

And yet for some reason when I first played the game, I managed to harden him all the way. But since I teased him about the tent part, after I beat the game, I reloaded from after Ostagar and played it all the way through again just for the complete romance and to do morrigan's ritual~ XD My mahariel is such a nice girl~

Case and point: Why I HATE Alistair. So finicky... He's irritating me so much in this play through I am strongly considering killing him. He's never any fun, except for the occasional stupid things he says. In fact, I think I'll make it a personal goal to crush his soul ^_^

Ahh, did that as my CanonWarden actually (MaleCousland). Theoretically you can still marry Anora if you have Alistiar execute Loghain instead of doing it yourself, but that option is bugged and strikes me as unrealistic anyway.

Alistair you can't really tell. There's only the option about telling him you agreed to back Anora for ruler at the Estate, but nothing about telling him you are going to marry her.
However given his lack of enthusiasm about becoming King or marrying Anora I think he'd welcome it, which inspired this comic two-parter: [link] [link] .
