Description
A newer look at an older drawing. Kind of. Take a look at "Ready?" in my gallery, this is sort of the next stage.In both terms of chronological order and in sort of how my artwork is evolving. There is no intelligent design, just pure evolution.
I could have foreshortened more, but I think this works for now.

Ancient nano-technology from a lost civilization. The wings are 'assembled' (ripped out of her back) on site with nanomachines replicating themselves very quickly, using mass from the atmosphere, the ground or whatever the hell is handy. The wings themselves are really strong, but extremely light (I'm thinking carbon nano tubes or something similar) since some of the material has to come from her own body. It uses an immense amount of energy, and it hurts like holy fuck - I think the longest she can keep them out is ten or fifteen minutes, any more and she'd kill herself.
Riko found her in a cryo tube in a bombed out research facility near the front lines. Seri remembers most of her past, but doesn't like to talk about it for reasons she doesn't like to divulge. It might invovle a young man she traveled with many years ago - You can see em together in The Pair and Last Stand (I'm currently re drawing this one).

Very nice, I love it. Serilda looks badass. She's pretty hot too.

ummm... it looks like they are are fighting each other. Is that true? Because in "Ready?" it as though they were gonna charge something. Otherwise beautiful movement, love the action.
