Description
Taking a break from working on litters and rebasing my own lions to bring you this. I've linked a few other processes in the descriptionOccasionally I am unable to find a base amongst my horde that suits what I am looking for or feel that my own modifications aren't enough so I will "frankendoll" or splice things together for a little more customization. Here is a little bit of my process, I hope this helps and makes some sense.
1. Pick your Bases
-It's best to find ones that have more similar proportions unless you plan on doing more resizing and more extensive work later on.
2. Crop out the Desired Sections
3. Quick Test
-Do a quick overlay of the section you intend to splice to identify areas of concern, in this case the front leg is largely covered so this was copied for the next step.
4. Final Crop and Line Colors
-Crop out other sections that you believe would be beneficial. To save yourself time later on I recommend coloring the lines using other colors.
5. Back Overlay
-Replace the head or limbs in the foreground first.
6. Front Overlay
-Set the limbs closest to yourself over the others.
7. Rough New Lines
-Approximate lines based off missing limbs, once again I'd recommend you use another color then black.
8. Erase Old Portions
-Get rid of unwanted portions
9.Recolor and Repair
-Other colored lines are colored black, added lines are adjusted to suite the style of the base.
The bases used here are by oCrystalArt , please do not use them.
