ENG only:Ok so, last time I drawed a reaction to ''Shadow vs Mewtwo'' and leaved some of my thoughs about it and...I really didn't expect it to get favs and comments so, due to the feedback I made a second part and of course I will leave my opinion here, this may be the last time I'll touch this topic since I think I already talked enough about it.
Anyway, something I noticed on the comment section of the video is that, there were some Pokemon fans (if you wanna call them like that) that due to Shadow's humilliating and somehow hilarious death, they wanted to pretty much troll Sonic fans by pretty much expecting them to rage and cry over it...and to be honest, that has to be really stupid. I know that Sonic the Hedgehog's fandom is infamous because of it's fanboys but, that doesn't mean they will all automatically whine because of a fan fight...actually, I really saw little to no rage comments whatsoever (being the most enraged ones the comments wich said that Screw Attack is biased and it's really not that salty compared to other kind of comments) and even if there were a lot of enraged fans...what do they get by starting a conflict with them? Will GameFreak give them a golden medal because of it? Since I find it very inmature to start a conflict over a fan fight and even if it's against fanboys, trolling them by starting the conflict is pretty much doing the same thing they do when they start a pointless rant. What's even more funny is that these Pokemon ''fans'' actually were extremely enraged when Charizard and Red got killed in a Death Battle by WarGreymon and they all spammed comments like ''Pokemon is better than Digimon'' ''Digimon is a cheap ripoff'' ''Put Mewtwo or Arceus to kill the Digimon universe''...and now they want the Shadow fans to get salty to make fun of them...oh the irony.
Anyway...as I said, this will be the last time I touch this topic and again this is just my opinion and I don't want to offend anyone. I specifically refered to the bad Pokemon fans, not the good ones who can respect others and don't need to bash other fandoms. One last thing...I personally think that no fandom should get bashed by any means, even by pointless debates like this.

At least Shadow can defended himself unlike the trainers rely on their animals for anything.
Pokemon fanbase can be a nightmare in times with lot of dramas,insults and anything else in general.

At least Shadow did his best against Mewtwo in a very short battle and somehow a spoon manged to kill him.....

Well apparently that spoon can cut buildings...but they literally mashed 4 Mewtwos into one and one of them was a totally separate one so...I guess they messed up there
And the fight was short because the animator actually didn't wanted to animate it.

As a fan of both franchises, the behavior of these pokemon 'fans' sickens me.
Also, i knew right away that anything beyond greymon would be too much for charizard to handle, even with it's mega evolution.

Pokemon (or nintendo in general) is quite an annoying series to deal with when it comes to vs debates. Dragonball is the worst from MY experience, but the bad pokemon fans can't take a loss at all and really like rubbing losses in others faces.
I know, and my knowledge of digimon is rusty at best. I basically had the mindset of if they go further then greymon (since we knew from the trailer that they'd use mega zard x) then charizard is doomed. Judging by what happened, i'd say i was right.

Well vs debates can get annoying in general, I think Pokémon can be a special case because of the trouble it means to translate gameplay and it's logic to a battle against foes from other franchises and obviously it can easily be used either for unfair advantages or disadvantages (like assuming thst psychic type Pokémon are invulnerable to any kind of physical attacks just because of fight type)

It can get annoying when taking all those into account. Some people use game machanics to lowball characters like Sonic and Kirby. In Sonics case, people always reffer to game theory lowballing Sonic just because he isn't as fast in game as he is canonically. His games would be impossible to control if Sonic really was that fast in game, because we humans don't have supersonic reaction speed. As for Kirby, people always use game mechanics that nerf Kirbys durability to argue that Buu would one shot him, ignoring the fact that Kirby has survived things like black holes (even fighting inside 1), supernovas, giant lasers ect. without being scratched. Clearly, you can't always count on game mechanics.

Yeah, some times people abuse gameplay mechanics, they should be used with some back up info from other media (obviously if it's from the same universe or similar enough). In RPGs gameplay mechanics can be kinda trusted since they have numerical stats meaning that it won't be as hard to translate to vs debates unlike adventure or action games

I hate it when people use game mechanics like that. People always make the same argument about it: they're video game characters, so what's in the games should be taken as fact. The biggest problem this creates is inconsistency between in game and in cutscene. Like with Sonics speed or Kirbys durability. RPGs make game mechanics more reliable then other genres of games, but you still have to take into account that the stats are for the standards of those universes so it can still be a pain in the brownhole to take all of that into account.

Yeah but at least it's not that hard...and sometimes people seems to forget about cutscenes...like people who claims that Super Sonic specifically needs rings when in fact these never appear in cutscene and in some fights it's even impossible their appearence (like seriously...rings in the middle of space and the center of earth?) and also they seem to ignore that it can easily be associated with the character's ability to maintin it considering the transformation it's based off.
So in short...gameplay logic sucks for vs debates

I actually disliked the video because the fight felt oddly short, I wished they dragged out the fight more, I knew Shadow was going to lose, but it was short and not that entertaining to watch.
