Simply stated. No matter how you put it, hunting is murder.
Think about it for a minute: You go out into somethings HOME, then shoot it.
Now, I'm not talking about the people who hunt animals and eat them, I'm talking about people who hunt animals for sport, and call it "fun". I mean, I doubt people eat cougar, coyote, wolf etc.
The reason I made this is because a kid at my school went with his friends and shot a whole bunch of squirrels, and chipmunks, TOOK PICTURES OF THE DEAD BODIES, then went to school and laughed about it. The kid was talking about how he killed two baby chipmunks. The worst part is, is that his excuse was that "he felt like it"
Please no flame, hate, or comments that will turn into arguments, I'm really sick of them.

You see, I'm vegetarian because I love animals and don't want to eat a dead one.
The rest of my family are meat eaters who hunt, but eat what they kill, and only kill the amount that they're going to eat. They mainly hunt because money's tight these days, so its cheaper to get your own meat than to buy it.
None of my family kills for sport, but for food. I admit that my family has killed wild snakes [and you don't eat those ] but that's only because we have four dogs outside and we live in Florida with all those poisonous water moccasins, and I still regret ever having to do that.

I strongly disagree, people label hunters as 'bad' when in reality we care more about the animals more than anyone else. We put forth the money to conserve the animals, we pay for our tags to protect the population. And for that little comment up there, when animals become over-populated they eat all the food and ALL of them die, we have to keep them at just the right population to conserve them.
Hunting isn't murder, that is your perspective. Killing for fun isn't hunting, that is call poaching, it's stupid.

Humans aren't meant to keep down overpopulation *lol, you are seriously saying ANIMALS are overpopulating when humans are the real problem? We don't kill humans, now do we?* Carnivores such as wolves *whom HUNTERS KILL because they say they are killing all of their deer and elk which they would murder anyway* and bears are meant to naturally eat the animals. Yes but a lot of hunters own dogs and yes we have too many deer right now; even more so than back a hundred years ago. It isn't sport hunting that nearly killed the whitetail it was commercial hunting that nearly did it. Nowadays commercial hunting is a form of poaching. But if it makes you feel better we have laws and regulations about hunting. In hunting nowadays we have seasons, tags, and bag limits. To describe bag limits is as simple as saying how many of that certain game animal you're allowed to take each year. In fact my home state alone has 900,000+ deer and the one thing threatening them is CWD (Chronic Wasting Disease).

i can kinda see what you are saying with this deer thing, and i've learned in the 7 months to try to understand your sides thoughts.
i understand what you are saying but i still think letting wolves and natural predators and even diseases kill them off.
they would die off naturally at a normal rate if people stopped hunting wolves, bears, and other
such predators.
also as i've mentioned before, people aren't killing each other because of disease and starvation. that would be just cruel. so why do people like you think it's so great and heroic to shoot animals because of the same issues? i think its just as sick and messed up as doing it to a human.

I can see why you don't like hunting even though I don't hunt as much as I used to but other folks still do. However scavenging for dead animals on the road wouldn't be too bad as long as it's fresh. And besides it isn't murder if the deer you are eating was ran over by someone else.

How is killing animals conserving them? Conserving is puting them in cages and protecting them from hunters. But, if we never STARTED killing them, then we wouldn't have to control the population. And, if ANY species needs t be controlled because of over population, it's humans.

When animals become over-populated they eat all the food and ALL of them die, so by protesting hunting you are saying you want all of them dead, not just a few from the tags that people get because the PAY for tags. And that money goes to help animals. By paying the Federal excise tax on hunting equipment, hunters are contributing hundreds of millions of dollars for conservation programs that benefit many wildlife species, both hunted and non- hunted. So if you really think about it, I'm doing way more for the environment then you are.

I hate hunting for sport but for survival I'm fine with it. The argument that animal populations become over populated is kinda ironic, humans are way over populated so by this logic hunters should go around shooting humans. A species as overpopulated as humans should not be controlling animal populations with less individuals then their own.
