I photographed this moth from all directions and could not see its eyes through the antennae.(c)rongiveans 2015

Thank you so much for your comment. I don't refuse artists from using my work, with the normal stipulations. I plan on spending some more time in your gallery studying your work. I like your work. I think it impressive and admirable and you are very, very talented.

I had one of these in our Garden is Sri Lanka and yes..........hard to see the face.

I tried to research this, ask some of the experts here and haven't gotten the same answer twice. I believe it is from an eri or silkwom. There are just so many similar moths. I should have spread its wings to see the pattern. Let me check the Atlas out.

Yes. There are 3/4 in the same species.
IF you look on my Profile page in animals? I found another in the same species..............I am dying to see the Moon one.
