Description
THE TALE: Located in the pristine confines of the Adirondack Mountains off US 9 near E-town (Elizabethtown), this waterfalls is created by winter snow runoff. I decided not to photograph the falls with a longer exposure creating the "creamy" looking water because this is wild country and the water is powerful. This is only the top part of the falls. Several miles downstream the water feeds into the Ausable Chasm Falls. The light does not stay long because of steep and high mountains and trees. This place has a spot in my spirit that causes me to return every time I am in the area.Related content

Thanks Ans. And I think I am. When I got my digital camera I was and am shooting everything, not really settling down to be a wildlife photographer or landscape photographer or portrait photographer or Flora photography. My experience has taken the full gambit of photography, commercial and industrial to street. I will never settle down to one niche as I had hoped. But that's okay, because since being on DA I have started to write again and combining the two, photography and writing, make me at peace with my craft. Thank you for noticing that Ans. It adds credence to my style.

No. lol. The Depart of Defense Language Institute is in Presidio of Monterey. Ambassadors, Attaches and military intelligence get their Language training there. I took Korean and Polish. I was an Intelligence Analyst and Interrogator. My instructor was the only Pole there.

Yes. I almost bought a house near the falls. It was built around 1900 with oak and mahogany by expert craftsmen. It was an old mansion with a waterfalls next to it and a view overlooking Lake Champlain. Unfortunately it remained in probate court for more than 10 years. That was my dream house.
