Sketch I did after work, last night. It came together really quickly, which is always nice. Pretty loose, though, especially the background. Still, I enjoy these sketchy drawings. It's all about getting the idea down, not so much about making everything shiny and fully rendered, when I do these.

About the picture:
"Lin walked cheerfully down the rough paved street on her way to work. She was employed as a tavern maid for the local pub, a bustling establishment known for it's rowdy evening brawls. With how crazy it could get in there, it was amazing she could go to work with a smile on her face, each day. Though, truth be told, Lin loved her job. The young elven woman lived in a little rural mountain town off the coast, just a half-day's wagon ride from the capital. Plenty of business went through the tavern she worked at, and with that traffic, lots of stories too, of far off lands and daring adventures. Cool ale and warm fires tend to loosen up even the most stoic of adventurers, and Lin always kept a pointed ear perked for any interesting tale that might be told."
