Okay, so I may or may not be completely insane for taking a break in my mad dash to finish my AP portfolio to draw Finas and Casimiro. I just can't get the idea out of my head on how they met in Italy ( inspired by [link] ) and it ends up that Finas is the one that turns Cas. It all may or may not be true, but I just like it so so much.

Finas has different facial hair because I can't imagine he would keep the same beard for all those years and years (it's the mid/late 1800s in this picture). But I kept the hair because I couldn't find a good cut for him when doing doodles for the backstory fic I'm doing (A Prelude to Prosperity/ Intrigue).

The title... is a sort of metaphor for all vampires. Because they are technically de.ad after being turned, even if they were alive and well beforehand. It applies especially to Emergency Transformation vamps like Conrad and my vision of Cas here. And maybe even my speculations on Finas. But that'll come up later, when I'm not fiddling away instead of working.
