Bee Line Café in Payson Arizona, October 24, 2022.The section of State Route 87 from just north of Mesa up to Payson has also been called the Beeline, hence the name.
The Beeline Café opened in 1962 when Millard and Mildred Sexton bought the little walk-up ice-cream stand that was at this location. Mildred passed away 2008, but the family continues to operate the restaurant.
It was a pleasant place with decent food.
We were driving to Flagstaff from Mesa, so I guess I should have posted these before I posted the Flagstaff station shots.
