Old Route 66 in Mt. Olive Illinois, Illinois, September 2016.We drove through Mt. Olive Illinois on the 1926-1930 alignment. Seems like a nice town. Houses seemed nice and well care for, but then we saw this one. I thought,"Wow, this must have some history to it". This has caught the eye of other travelers on Route 66 who have posted pictures, but none of the ones I could find knew anymore than me.
