Yay! I was happy when I heard this new too! though I already have the Sonic Mania game on my switch...I hope I can still get Ray and Mighty though ? Lovely art btw. I like how you color things. I suck at coloring its so hard! I love your cute style!

yeah!Β you can get Sonic Mania Plus as dlc, it just costs $5!Β and your save files will still be intact
thank you so much!Β it took me a VERY long time to figure out how the heck to color.Β I thought I'd never be capable of it.Β I only did black and white realistic artwork for so long.Β but now my art is exactly what I always dreamed.Β keep trying, and experiment!Β Β

don't get discouraged!Β my drawing ability improved as I got older, but when it came to coloring my drawings, uh.Β the result always stank lol.Β even after getting an art degree, I still couldn't color well!Β but in hindsight I see it simply came down to me not being able to understand the way color theory is usually taught
so this is how I taught myself!Β I didn't really know what I was doing, I was just so desperate to color that I started trying out stuff.Β Β
I started saving other people's art that I really admired and wished I could emulate.Β then I'd use the eyedrop tool on them to discover what colors they were actually using.Β and I'd use those colors to draw something of my own (I never posted these though).Β but instead of drawing normally, by drawing lineart and then coloring it, I decided to try making lineless art.Β I'd throw blobs of color on the canvas to make the shapes of the background, objects, characters, etc.Β Β
doing lineless drawings really helped me figure out how colors relate to each other, which colors look really cool together, and how to make colors stand out from each other.Β without lineart, the colors have to be readable all on their own!Β it's honestly really fun too, as long as you're not too obsessed with making the drawing look 100% polished, cuz it's a lot of work to clean it up.

Thank you for answering me. I really have been looking forward to hearing this reply. I kind of feel how you used to, at a point where I'm stuck in learning. I think I will take your advice and try practicing in this way. I've never tried lineless art before! This will either be interesting or terrible

trust me, my first attempts at lineless were terrible!Β but it was really fun at the same time!Β I think cuz it was a whole new approach, I could do anything and not be limited by lines I had already put down ahead of time.Β I could change the drawing anytime I wanted just by moving colors around!
