Freaking love mankey SO much. I don't know why.These guys are so nostalgic, first evos of early wild Pokemon... -dreamy sigh-
Anyway, practicing how the monsters will look in this style.
Experimenting with ear shapes since I'm not a fan of they're drawn in the original art.

I really like mankey too! There's a lot of movement and expression in his his poses.
But sandshrew is my favorite~ Running with his eyes closed... and his little tumtum!

I'm glad you like sandshrew, he didn't turn out quite how I wanted so I was kinda hating it haha. Β Mankey's really easy to make movement-y, so it'll be a lotta fun drawing him in the comic! (I think Lorin'll have a mankey)

Oh man, at first I was like, Oh it looks like a pidgey!
And then I realized these were all pokemon.
Its so cool, they're recognizable, but also so different its really refreshing That nidorina/nidorino is so cute. :U
