Maybe I should've done this in the first place? I like the vertical version, but horizontally it's much easier to look at... I might edit the original post. Maybe. I dunno. I could always make a poll asking which you guys like better or something I dunno. Either way, here's a wallpaper version if you wanna try it out

Are you just asking what program did I use, or do you want me to go into more detail about my coloring process?

Alrighty, well, I use photoshop cs3. My process is really basic lol... The only thing worth mentioning is I color the background, characters, and eyes&nose on different layers, just to keep them separate. All I do is zoom out so the pic is really small, then throw super bright colors around with a flat brush til it looks basically how I like. After that, it's the painful process of zooming in and smoothing the colors into sharp shapes.
Oh yeah, a few things. I use the hue/saturation and levels tools a lot to really push the colors and contrast. I also use the fade brush tool in order to get ridiculously colorful shadows--I usually brush a hot pinkish purple over the area I want to shade, then use the fade brush tool to decrease its opacity. It's also what I do if I can't quite get the right color--like if I have blue but I want it more blue green, I'll brush a bright green over it and use the fade brush to get the color I want.

I used to, but not anymore. I've never been very good at line art to begin with. Now I don't draw with lines at all, I just paint color shapes to sketch out an image.
