When I was young, I used to collect any wires, odd bits of metal, and any electronic part I could find to make an invention. I didn't know what I was going to invent, I just assumed all the parts would go together.Related content

God -damn- that's tasty. But then, I have an unhealthy preoccupation with the color red.
I know what you're talking about with the scrap collecting. Friend of mine used to scavenge stuff for his "machine shop" in his basement. We thought we were going to build space ships outta that stuff someday. Now I still pick up random crap from the street and the jailroad tracks, intending to scan it for raw material.
