My first bit of fanart of the eleventh doctor. I'm really, REALLY not sure about the new look tardis! But, I'm getting used to his costume, nice little throw back to the older Doctors.Related content

Ha ha Shorty, it's the fourth episode and I'm still bothered by the bow-tie. Sigh. Very nice picture though, I like it!

First off, nice drawing. Love how you captured his perpetually askew expression.
Secondly, I thought the attire was too indie rock, too old for his age and looks. Too academic. But when I saw what Matt Smith actually did while he was IN the outfit, I abandoned all doubt. I think it's kinda like Oxford professor-ish because, well, while he might be looking younger, he's getting older FAST (with his companions dropping like flies and he himself burning through regenerations).

Yes, I agree, everyone was a bit off-put by his young appearance, but we thought Tennant was a relatively young Doctor, like Davison was with the Fifith. Smith is really living up to high expectations, in my book anyway. He has many of the things that make the Doctor so, like the quirky humour, clever speech and odd behaviour. Can't wait to see how series 5 unfolds...

THAT'S gonna be his costume, really? Wow. With a bow tie and everything. Definitely reminds me of the 2nd Doctor, just with blue jeans instead of plaid pants and a darker jacket.
*sigh* It's the bow tie that's throwing me off. If they got rid of that, I think I'd like it a lot better.
