Description Wave Beam Chozo Guardian:

In the depths of the Haunted Chasms on Planet Mekozain, a Chozo Training planet, lays a derelict and ancient monument of the Chozo, guarding the valuable Wave Beam technology.

Samus must aim first for the Statue's eyes in order to make the guardian reel, then shoot it's exposed chest.

The Sheegoth seemed slightly weak for a Wave bean Gaurdian; it's stonger than the next beam (Ice) in most combat situaions, especially since you get the Thermal Visor soon after, then continue to fight in Phendrana (Ice vs. ice= no go!). Most importantly of all though, is in the Phazon Mines. The Wavebuster and its shoot-through wall capacity make it a powerful weapon that, once again, is guarded by an ailed boss.

Yeah, I do like Beam guardians, but I didn't really like the Sheegoth. It was nice to have the first Snow area in a Metroid game, though!

Undoubtably...
One reason why Prime is still a 10/10 by N.P., Gamespot, and Famistu.

Ohh very nice. It's in the same sort of style like metal ridley from zero mission. It would very much fit into that game.

Thanks! Yeah, all the sort of thin limbs and robotic build.

I love how this looks, your style is crazy insane/awesomeness!!

All that said, I think this'd be a fun fight. Fighting a Chozo for a Beam upgrade sounds pretty original...I don't recall having the privelege of fighting a Chozo boss in any of the Metroid games, and I've nearly played 'em all!! Haha. Maybe Nintendo should steal a page from your book and make this reality in the next Metroid game...

Well thanks really much, I really appreciate that!

I'm not sure there are any Chozo bosses in the Metroid series apart from the Torizo from Super Metroid, which I believe are remnants of the Chozo race?
I think if they do a sequel to Fusion, it will undoubtedly be about her outrunning the Galactic Federation, which will make it awesome!
I have a little storyline set out in my head of a sequel game. Need to write it down, really.

Hell, all these fan fics and you haven't written that awesome-sounding story down?! You should!

It's deff something Nintendo should do. I'm hoping that there will be more Metroid games...whether they take place before or after Fusion...as long as it's awesome I'm happy.

I have this feeling that it's not over. But I haven't heard anything about a new Metroid game yet. Still, I'm ever-hopeful.

You should go write that down now.

I've taken your advice and uploaded a map/picture of my Metroid Storyline thingy. I'll probably update it as I remember more.

Well thanks, I may just do that!

I reckon they might release a new Metroid game once the 3DS has established its graphic engines and such.
They usually release a new game of each franchise with each new generation of console (although surprisingly no Metroid for the N64)
I think they'll either do a sequel to Fusion or fit in another game between Corruption and Return of Samus.

I think they could even do a sub-series or sequel series just titled 'The Adventures of Samus Aran', and refresh the whole franchise a bit by removing the actual Metroids for a while.
I really enjoyed the Phazon storyline, the Metroids were hardly needed, it was mainly about the Space Pirates and Ridley (who also probably needs to take a break for a while!)

I loved the Prime series--that's what really blew me away when it came to video games, though the game I started with--Fusion--wasn't that bad, either.

I've always noticed the wave beam never had a guardian...

I don't think beam weapons do, normally.

No, B.O.X from metroid fusion was guarding the Wave Beam.

I like this. I wish they had more bosses before items in super metroid rather then just finding them randomly : P

Ya true. Now that I think about it there's a few battles before items. Space jump for instance. Even the gravity suit couldn't be retrieved without killing Phantoon. Maybe I just wanted there to be more bosses in the game : P

astrotoadp5 In reply to tomgiest [2011-03-24 08:22:22 +0000 UTC]

ha yeah. also i mean varia in M1, not SM. you fight kraid right before that. but anyway i can think of spider ball (m2), varia (m1), Screw attack (m3) uh.... does morph ball in prime count? that armored beetle dude isn't really a boss :\

a boss in any case I guess : P

Rootay In reply to tomgiest [2011-03-22 19:48:43 +0000 UTC]

Definitely. I think it'd be cool to get the item, then you have to fight the boss to escape from the item room, using the new weapon against it!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

tomgiest In reply to Rootay [2011-03-22 19:52:43 +0000 UTC]

And the boss mechanics teach you about the item! Ah that's a good idea, I gotta write that down for mine : P
