pink insulation foam covered in fiberglass and the raised details and edge are made from thin sheets of styrene :3

thanks! and yes of course! it's a base of foam which I fiberglassed over and the details are all done in styrene and I found some amazing chrome spray paint called Plasti-kote for all the silver shiny bits

yeah that's what people have been telling me all morning it turned out better than I could have imagined! those little S things took me at least 6 hours each @_@

well I'm making props, I don't want live weapons as these are for conventions. Plus...I don't like how storebought ones look. There's always something a little off. Also...I highly doubt they'd let me cross the US-Canada border with a sword.
