Name: Sarabande (Called Sara by friends – prounounce Saa-raa-ban-de)
Appearance: Appears 12, is ???????
Race: Gaean of Ram
Terrain: Aprica Forest

Phantasm:

-Aerial element power-
It helps Sarabande dust her bookshelves, organize her books, get books in the high shelves for her customers, and make her tea. In battle though, she uses it to propel herself for more speed (since she is not very strong) and she uses her air for her book. Being peaceful though, Sarabande mostly uses it for ordinary, small purposes. Oh, and she also uses her wind to shove people out her door if they are disrupting her library.

-Strategical Knowledge-
Due to her excessive reading and memorizing, Sarabande is an avid thinker and is capable of thinking and planning out battles and battle moves. She can be considered a planning genius. Most of the time, she doesn’t enjoy fighting and so uses her knowledge for conversations and puzzles.

-Book Wielder-
Has her book which she uses for fights. Using her air, she makes the hundreds of pages fly out and scratch up her opponent. This makes up for her low dexterity, as the many pages that fly out give her a higher chance of hitting her target. She also has spells written in her book, which she can use as a final card.

Main Weapon:

-Book (Book of Mys)-
Sarabande’s personal book, a book that only she can read and open. She received a long time ago on her first journey for helping a troubled fellow Gaean. She has various texts from forbidden books stored in the Book of Mys, and also her deepest observations and secrets. The Book of Mys is her main weapon in battle. Using her air, the hundreds of pages of her book fly out and slice her opponents(s) with their sharp edges. She then can return the pages back to her book. A ribbon with enchantments seals off the book when not in use.

Personality:

Quiet thinker – A rather quiet person who prefers to listen rather than talk. She can find out more information that way, and through experience has found that great listeners are appreciated.

Complete neat freak- Her hobby is cleaning and organizing her library. She hates dirty people, objects, and personalities. She bathes every day, and frequently hums when she cleans. She says that cleaning makes her ‘soul feel clean and refreshed’. She especially loves washing her hair and brushing it – it is her pride and joy >u<

Studious bookworm- Being a librarian, she has read every single one of her books and has memorized all of them by heart. She loves learning new things and memorizing, and so sometimes goes on small journeys to see and explore the world, and of course, get new books.

Peaceful (but hides her power)-
Sarabande dislikes fighting and prefers to read in her library. Though she seems weak and gentle, if you mock her books are hurt her books in any way intentionally, you will regret it for the rest of your life - if you were lucky enough to survive in the first place.

Ladylike and understanding-
Adresses people courteously and formally. She believes that everyone has the right to be respected, unless they prove it otherwise. If you are rude to her, she will bear it as much as she can, as she has learned that “everyone is different and portray their emotions in different ways”.

Background:
Sarabande has been in the world for more years than she cares to remember. Born as a Gaean in Aprica Forest, Sarabande (in her younger, ‘foolish’ years) traveled the lands, looking for a more exciting place to settle. After various forced battles, cold, fatigue, and some unsocial Umbrians, Sarabande decided that Aprica Forest was best for her.

After deciding to settle in Aprica Forest, Sarabande built herself a cottage and lived in solitude for about 70 years. During that time, Sarabande wrote down her experiences and the information she attained from her journey in the form of books, and kept them in a shelf.

One day, a straying Clementine stumbled upon her cottage. Feeling sorry for the poor human, Sarabande sheltered the Clementine and read her books from the shelf. After resting for a night, the Clementine thanked Sarabande greatly and returned to her journey. About a month after this incident, a couple Clementines knocked at the door to Sarabande’s cottage, introduced themselves as friends of the Clementine she had helped, and asked if they could read her books. Surprised, Sarabande agreed. Marveled at the books, the Clementines suggesting that Sarabande should start a library and left her cottage. Deciding that this suggestion wasn’t bad, Sarabande went on a small journey to collect stray books scattered in the world, and her library began to blossom.

Since then, Sarabande’s library has grown enormously large from both books she has attained from her small expeditions and donations from her customers. Rumors of her library have spread far and wide, and many beings from all races come to her library to read. As long as you don’t hurt her books, are courteous to the other readers, and read the books inside the library (no stealing!), she welcomes you to her humble cottage.
