Hello!
It's been a while I don't submit something! I've been without internet for a month, but I also have little time to draw finished pics! T.T Reason why I collected a bunch of sketches during these months to keep my hand trained in some way...
This is a selection from 2010 to 2012, some of you may already have seen it on my tumblr. I decided to post it on dA too because I kinda feel this gallery has a "gap", above all concerning some original characters: most of their drawings are old and I don't like them anymore, so these sketches are a way to show how some of them evolved with the passing of time.

They're all OCs from Instrumenta , a novel I'm writing with nigerlapis .

1. (Sep. 2011) Yolane and Nazim. Nazim is a fascinating doctor, there's no point to say Yolane is deeply in love with him XD
2. (2010?) Adàn. He's a 15-years-old thief. I didn't draw him very much because his design changed everytime, but he's indeed an important character.
3. (Jan. 2012) Also called the sadness collection a) Aki b) A newer and hopefully ultimate version of Adàn c) Kaya comforting a desperate Yolane d) Farid
4. (Feb. 2012) Little illustration concept for a spin-off I wrote about Dejanira's childhood. The super-sketched seaport on the background is Dejanira's hometown.
5. (Mar. 2012) Don't ask me why Aki, Dejanira and Farid are in "China"! Dialogues and scenes are random.
6. (Feb. 2012) Laerte and Estrella, Dejanira's parents, here in their youth As Dejanira, they're both inspired to mediterranean fellows.
7. (June 2012) Rodas with his "almost" official lover. They are both libertines, so they really get along with each other..:°D
8. (April 2012) Shivali. She’s a wise and peaceful woman, a preacher who has chosen to follow a life of virtue.
9. (200?-Aug. 2011) Very old sketches. a)Yolane likes to pick flowers b) Kaya in ninja-mode. I still have to make a better japanese-like design for her outfit...the truth is that she doesn't wear her country clothes for the most part of the story (same for Aki).
10. (2010) Quite old but I still like it. A bit spoilerish..
11. (May 2012) Rodas with beard! and Inés, Rodas’ niece. (daughter of his brother). Strange but true, Rodas is very tied to his family.
12. (2008-2012) This is a bonus track The originary sketch is VERY old, it was meant to be the back cover for the hypothetical first comic volume, lol! Basically the main characters all together in the first part of the story.
13. (2011-2012) Some studies of Aki's features and expressions. I never cease to draw him because he's the most challenging to figure out. It's ironic, because he ended to be my favourite even if he's a difficult child Now I'm pretty satisfied of his newer versions.
